Chocolate Cherry Crisp From Pillsberry

Ingredients:

  • 1 package pillsbury supreme double chocolate brownie
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 2 cans (21-oz.) cherry pie filling
  • fresh mint springs (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350F. Reserve chocolate syrup packet from
  2. Brownie mix for topping. In large bowl, combine
  3. Brownie mix, oats and walnuts; mix well. Add butter;
  4. Stir until mix is moistened. (Mixture will be dry.)
  5. Spoon pie filling evenly into ungreased 9 or 8-inch
  6. Square (2-quart) glass baking dish. Sprinkle brownie
  7. Mixture over pie filling.
  8. Bake at 350F. for 30 to 40 minutes or until edges are
  9. Bubbly. Cool 45 minutes.
  10. To serve, spoon crisp into bowls. Top each serving
  11. With ice cream; drizzle with chocolate syrup from
  12. Packet. Garnish with mint sprigs.
