  1. Preheat oven to 350˚F. Butter and flour a 9-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar together, then mix in the sour cream. Beat in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the mashed bananas, vanilla, and the chopped chocolate; stir to combine.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet and mix just until combined. Divide the batter in half; add in the cocoa powder and mix until combine, be careful not to over mix.
  5. Alternate adding the plain batter and chocolate batter into the loaf pan. Run a knife through the layers to create a swirl pattern.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
