Ingredients:

  • 1 (3 lb) whole chickens
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp parsley
  • 3/4 cup port wine
  • 1 tbsp basil

Directions:

  1. Cut chicken into separate pieces, rub with salt and pepper. In butter and olive oil, saute pieces of chicken, then add chopped onions and pressed garlic, port wine, tomato sauce, basil. Cover and cook for 30 min or until chicken is done. Before serving add shrimp, cook for 3 to 4 minute.
  2. We serve this with steamed basmati rice. it's very yummmeeeee.
