Ingredients:

  • 1 - 20 0 z. cherry pie filling
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 3/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Beat together: eggs, oil, applesauce and almond extract. Combine dry ingredients and add to egg mixture. Fold in cherry pie filling and walnuts. Divide in 2 greased and flour loaf pans. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees for 60-75 minutes.
