Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup of flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • 3/4 cup of milk

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in a deep baking dish.
  2. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
  3. Pour over butter, do not stir.
  4. Mix cherries and almond extract together
  5. Put cherry mixture on top of batter, do not stir.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min to an hour.
