Cheesey Smoked Sausage Potato Soup

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Put large pot on stove over medium/high heat
  2. Cut smoked sausage into either circle pieces or half moon pieces and put in pot
  3. Once smoked sausage is FULLY BROWNED and ALMOST BURNT add a few tablespoons of water to the pot to deglaze the bottom of the pan
  4. Add the potatoes, onions, celery to the smoked sausage in the pot and enough water to cover all
  5. All the salt, pepper, beef bouillion cubes, garlic and onion powder to the water
  6. Increase heat to high until water begins to boil; once boiling you can
  7. Reduce back down to medium-medium high
  8. Cook all until potatoes are tender-DO NOT DRAIN
  9. Turn heat off
  10. Take a potato masher and mash the potatoes to desired consistency (some like chunky/some like thinner)
  11. Add can of evaporated milk
  12. Add can of cheddar cheese soup
  13. Stir and serve
