Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Directions:

  1. Sift and measure flour then add remaining dry ingredients and sift again.
  2. Beat egg yolks then add them to milk and stir liquid ingredients into dry ones.
  3. Add melted butter then beat egg whites until stiff and fold them into the batter.
  4. Gently fold in cheese just before baking then bake in preheated waffle iron 3 minutes.
