  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Sift together flour, salt and cayenne pepper into a bowl, set aside. In another bowl, add butter and cheddar cheese and mix until creamy. Slowly beat in flour mixture, a scoop at a time, until blended. Add cheese straw batter to plastic bag with corner cut out. Put the batter into bag and squeeze onto cookie sheet, two rows of batter, or add another layer, whatever you like. Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
