Cheese And Onion Cornbread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup finely minced onion
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tsp oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375*.
  2. In large bowl, mix all ingredients except cheese.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Fold in cheese.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
