Directions:

  1. Boil the first ingredients together for about 10 to 12 minutes until tender
  2. While the above is cooking, prepare white sauce:
  3. In a sauce pan, melt butter then add the flour.slowly as you would in making gravy and stir until smooth
  4. Slowly add milk and stir as it cooks to keep the smooth consistancy
  5. Add the cheese and continue to stir on low to medium heat until cheese is melted.
  6. Add the bacon or ham and the ingredients listed first and cooked earlier.
  7. Cook until mixed and heated through. (Stir often)
  8. Serve hot and with good old fashioned corn bread.
