Caramel Oatmeal Fudge Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp cream

Directions:

  1. Mix oatmeal, flour, melted butter, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt in large bowl
  2. Press 3/4 of this mixture into the bottom of a 9X13 inch pan
  3. Bake 10 minutes at 350 Degrees
  4. On the stove melt the butter, cream and caramels on low heat until completely melted
  5. Remove the baked mixture from the oven and evenly pour the caramel mixture on top of it
  6. Cover the caramel layer with a layer of chocolate chips
  7. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 of oats micture on top of the chocolate chips
  8. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degress
