Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups icing sugar (confectioner's)
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar.
  2. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Add milk; bring mixture back to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in icing sugar and vanilla.
  6. Spread warm frosting immediately over cake.
