Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  2. When syrup is at a rolling boil, add cranberries and immediately remove from heat and cover.
  3. Allow to steep for 15 minutes and then strain cranberries from syrup and spread in a single layer to cool, discarding any popped berries.
  4. Allow to dry for 30-60 minutes.
