Brown Sugar Saltine Cookies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Line 1-inch deep cookie pan with aluminum foil.
  3. Place a single layer of saltines in bottom of cookie sheet.
  4. In saucepan, combine sugar and butter.
  5. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
  6. Immediately pour over saltines and spread to cover the crackers completely.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees; for 6 to 8 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
  9. Return to oven for 1 minute.
  10. Spread melted chocolate evenly.
  11. Top with nuts.
  12. Cool until hard, usually overnight.
  13. Put in freezer for a few minutes.
  14. Break into pieces. I usually get about 70 pieces.
