Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar , packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 (8 oz) package heath toffee pieces

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Lightly grease cookie sheet.
  3. Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and salt in large bowl until blended.
  4. Add eggs, beat well.
  5. Stir together flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  6. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended.
  7. Stir in toffee bits.
  8. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet.
  9. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly.
