Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup. sugar
  • 2/3 cup. water
  • pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. In a blender or food processor, blend all ingredients together to make the base. If you taste it, it may seem quite intense. But don't worry - the flavors will be much more muted once it's frozen.
  2. Pour the base into the tub of an ice cream maker, and process according to manufacturer's directions.
  3. Freeze for an additional 20 minutes for optimal texture.
  4. If the sorbet requires a longer stay in the freezer, it may be necessary to move it to the refrigerator 30 minutes before serving, to soften it up.
