Blue Bayou Caramelized Pecans

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • 3/4 cup butter

Directions:

  1. Toast pecans in a 350F oven for 8 minutes, let cool.
  2. Melt butter, add sugar & cayenne, mix well.
  3. Bring to a medium boil.
  4. Remove from heat, pour over pecans & mix well.
  5. Pour on a parchment lined cookie sheet, spread out & let cool.
  6. Store in an airtight container.
