Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Beat in milk and extract.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  6. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove to wire racks to cool.
