Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute sausage and onion until brown, drain and set aside.
  2. Combine cornmeal and other dry ingredients.
  3. Beat eggs, buttermilk, and oil together and combine with dry ingredients (batter will be lumpy).
  4. Add sausage and onion mixture, green pepper, corn, cheese, peas and jalepenos.
  5. Pour into very hot, lightly greased iron skillet.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
