Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. CAKE DOUGH:
  3. Mix cottage cheese, milk, veg oil, salt, flour, baking powder and vanilla in a large bowl. Blend well.
  4. Prepare a 10 x 15 inch jelly roll pan with non-stick cooking spray.,or lightly grease and flour or lilne with baking paper.
  5. Roll out dough mixture on a floured board or worktop.
  6. Gently spread in pan and set aside.
  7. FILLING:
  8. Combine butter, sugar, milk, vanilla,and almonds in a medium-sized saucepan.
  9. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  10. Spread mixture evenly over dough.
  11. TOPPING
  12. Mix together flour, cinnamon, sugar, and butter and blend well. Sprinkle over prepared cake.
  13. Sprinkle slivered almonds over top of cake.
  14. Bake for 20-25 minutes until light golden color and
  15. Serve with honey on the side.
