Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream butter with sugar.
  2. Gradually add flour; blend well after each addition.
  3. Spread in 13 x 9=inch greased pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
  5. Combine sugar, walnuts, flour, eggs, salt, baking powder and vanilla; blend well.
  6. Pour over crust.
  7. Continue baking until set, about 15 minutes.
  8. Let cool completely in pan.
  9. TOPPING: Combine ingredients.
  10. Blend until smooth and spread evenly over pastry.
  11. Cut into 1-inch squares.
