Ingredients:

  • 1 cup bengal gram dhal , cooked and mash without lumps with the back of a spoon
  • 1/2 cup thin coconut milk
  • handful of nuts saoked in warm water
  • coconut bits , roasted in ghee

Directions:

  1. Mix the cooked dhal in the thin milk and simmer .
  2. Add the jaggery syrup , nuts , cardamom .
  3. Boil for 5 mins .
  4. Add the thick milk .
  5. Once it starts to boil on the sides , remove .
  6. Garnish with the coconut bits .
  7. Serve with pappad ( indian wafers )
