Ingredients:

  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup

Directions:

  1. Cream the butter and sugar, add the egg and syrup, then the dry ingredients.
  2. Roll and cut in the usual way.
  3. Bake on a greased tray for 15-20 minutes in a moderate oven[350 F/180 C].
