Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp butter
  • topping
  • 10 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease and flour an 8 x 8” pan.
  3. Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour and baking powder.
  4. Bring milk and butter to a boil and mix with batter mixture.
  5. Pour into pan and bake approximately 30 minutes.
  6. Mix topping ingredients and spread on cake while it is still warm. Broil until topping is bubbly and warm.
