Ingredients:

  • 14 -18 lbs pork shoulder butt
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 2 (45 oz) bottles barbecue sauce

Directions:

  1. Trim fat off of roast and cut into cubes about two inches square. It can take up to 2 hours depending on how lean you want it and how much fat you trim off.
  2. Mix in 3 tablespoons salt and bake covered at 325 degrees for 4 to 5 hours.
  3. Drain water off of pork. Stir pork and it should fall apart.
  4. Add BBQ sauce (I use 1 1/2 to 2 bottles) and bake covered another hour (I use Famous Dave's Rich & Sassy).
  5. Serve on a bun.
