Battered Flounder Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayo
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1, 8 oz package hush puppy mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 lb flounder fillets cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 cups of oil to fry
  • 1 cup flour to dredge fish

Directions:

  1. Combine sauce ingrdients and cover and chill
  2. Prepare fish:
  3. Heat oil to 350F.
  4. Combine hushpuppy mix and milk into a batter.
  5. Dip fish into flour and then into batter.
  6. Fry golden about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  7. Serve with sauce
