Barbequed Pacific Oysters With Wasabi Mustard Sauc...

Ingredients:

  • 12-16 small- to medium-sized fresh oysters
  • 2 tbsp inglehoffer wasabi mustard
  • 2 tsp gourmet garden lemongrass herb blend
  • note: gourmet garden are usually found in the fresh vegetable department of grocery stores. they come in a squeeze tube.

Directions:

  1. Preheat gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Set oysters aside; stir together remaining ingredients to make Wasabi Mustard Sauce. Set aside.
  3. When grill is hot, arrange oysters over coals, cooking them for about 6 to 10 minutes. As soon as the oysters open, remove them from the grill. Discard those that do not open. Remove the top shell from each oyster; gently loosen oyster from its base shell. Serve oysters while still hot with a dollop of Wasabi Mustard Sauce.
