Banana Nut or Peach Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 2 2/3 cups sugar
  • 4 -6 eggs (4 large or 6 small)
  • 6 small ripe bananas or 3 cups fresh peaches

Directions:

  1. Mix together the sugar, evaporated milk, and about 1/2 cup whole milk.
  2. Separate yolks from whites of eggs.
  3. Beat yolks and mix with mashed bannas OR: 3 cups fresh sliced peaches.
  4. Stir into the sugar mixture, mixing well.
  5. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into mixture.
  6. Put into a 1 gallon freezer.
  7. Fill freezer to within 2 inches from the top with whole milk.
  8. Freeze according to freezer directions.
