Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs or 2 egg beaters egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat all ingredients for 4 minutes in mixer bowl.
  3. Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  5. Test with toothpick.
  6. If still wet, leave in for another 10-15 minutes.
