  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Line muffin tin with paper liners.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Beat in the mashed bananas and vanilla.
  6. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture.
  8. Spoon the batter into the muffin tins.
  9. Bake until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Remove the muffins from the tin and place on a rack to cool completely.
