Banana Fruit And Nut Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup candied fruit

Directions:

  1. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add chopped nuts.
  3. Cream together sugar and butter until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, bananas, and milk and combine well.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just moistened.
  6. Gently fold in the fruit and raisins.
  7. Pour into 2 lightly greased loaf pans and bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes until golden in color.
  8. Cool on cake rack.
  9. These loaves also freeze well.
