Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup shortening

Directions:

  1. ) Sift dry ingredients.
  2. ) Beat shortening until creamy and add sugar gradually. Continue beating until light and fluffy.
  3. ) Add eggs, beat well.
  4. ) Add flour mixture alternately with bananas, beating after each addition until smooth.
  5. ) Put in well greased oven pan, bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
