Ingredients:

  • 2 cup. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 9 x5 loaf pan.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar.
  5. Add the eggs and mashed bananas and mix well.
  6. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture and stir just to moisten.
  7. Pour into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let bread cool in the pan 10 minutes.
  10. Turn out onto a wire rack.
