Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a loaf pan (or muffin pan).
  3. Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the bananas, yogurt, applesauce, egg, and vanilla and mix well.
  5. In a separate bowl mix, together flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well. [Variations: Add 1 small apple (peeled, cored and diced), 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, or 1/2 cup chocolate chips].
  7. Pour into the pan and bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (if baking muffins, bake for 20-30 minutes).
  8. Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before removing from the pan and cooling completely on a wire rack.
