Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 oz chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Sift flour and dry ingredients in large bowl.
  2. Mix butter and dry ingredients together using your hands, like you are making a pie crust.
  3. Mash bananas thoroughly in separate bowl.
  4. Whisk eggs together in small bowl.
  5. Combine all ingredients until moistened/combined.
  6. Mix in chopped walnuts. (optional).
  7. Grease loaf pans.
  8. Pour mixture into loaf pans about half full.
  9. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
