Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in egg.
  3. Blend in dry ingredients, then add bananas.
  4. Pour into greased, floured loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350 for about 55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. A dark loaf pan seems to work best.
