Blueberry Streusel Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • topping
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp butter , cut into pieces

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees, grease a 9 inch baking dish
  2. With mixer, cream the butter with sugar until light and fluffy. add the egg, beat to combine, then mix in the milk.
  3. In separate bowl, mix flour, powder and salt.
  4. Mix with the creamed mixture. add blueberries and stir
  5. Transfer to baking dish.
  6. TOPPING:
  7. Place sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter in bowl. Using pastry blender, cut butter in.
  8. Sprinkle the topping over the batter
  9. Bake about 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean
