Baked Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) package white mushrooms , medium sized
  • 6 tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, plain (or 2 slices bread , torn into little pieces)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Clean mushrooms; remove and finely chop stems.
  3. Place mushroom caps in a shallow baking pan.
  4. Melt margarine in skillet and add chopped stems, bread crumbs and seasonings. Saute about 5 minutes.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with bread mixture.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
