Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Wash and core halved pears - DO NOT PEEL. Place in 6 small microwavable bowls. Sprinkle each pear lightly with Fruit fresh or lightly rub with lemon piece. This prevents the fruit from darkening. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Place in microwave and cook on level 8 or 9 (SAUTE) approximately 4 to 8 minutes (pears should still retain their shape and be cooked) drain and keep pears slightly warm. I leave them in the micro until serving time.
  2. Place room temperature cream cheese and milk in small bowl with 1/4 to 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and blend until smooth with mixer. Gradually add Amaretto to cheese/milk mix and blend. (Mix needs to be light and firm, not soupy.) Both the milk and Amaretto maybe adjusted to desired consistency. Refrigerate.
  3. When you're ready to serve, add a generous dollop of the cream cheese mix to the tops of each pear, then sprinkle with grated nutmeg and cinnamon. Serve at once.
