Baked Brie With Cranberries

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1/4 cup of dried cranberries
  • 4 oz round of brie
  • 1 egg, beaten with some water

Directions:

  1. Roll out puff pastry into 1/4 thickness.
  2. Place Brie in the middle and top with cranberries.
  3. Bring up the sides and pleat to cover cranberries/cheese.
  4. Crimp and seal edges with egg wash.
  5. Brush pastry top with egg wash and top with almonds.
  6. Baked at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350 degrees and bake for another 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with apple slices, grapes and crackers.
