Ingredients:

  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour , sifted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup lemon curd
  • 2 tbsp almonds

Directions:

  1. Cream butter with sugar
  2. Add egg
  3. Sift dry ingredients together.
  4. Add to wet
  5. Divide dough in half
  6. Spread in greased 9x9 1st half of dough.
  7. Spread lemon curd on top
  8. Top with second 1/2 of dough cover and seal
  9. Sprinkle on almonds
  10. Bake 375 for 20 minute or until done.
