Aunt Mable's Buttermilk Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour , sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix flour & sugar.
  3. Stir mixture into softened butter (or margarine).
  4. Beat eggs into mixture one at a time.
  5. Stir in vanilla and buttermilk.
  6. Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust.
  7. Bake for 55 minutes.
