Apricot Rice (Toddler/Baby)

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup brown rice
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions:

  1. Combine the rice with 1/2 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; then simmer for 20 minutes, or until all liquid has been absorbed.
  2. Wash the apricot well. Peel it, remove the pit, and chop into small pieces.
  3. Combine the rice and apricot in a food process or or blender. Pulse to desired consistency.
  4. If making a thin mixture, puree until smooth. Add breastmilk or formila as needed to make the mixture creamer.
