Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup margarine (2 sticks)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 quart applesauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients except applesauce together.
  3. Put 1/2 of the mixture in the bottom of a greased and floured baking pan.
  4. Layer applesauce on top of mixture in pan.
  5. Put the remaining 1/2 of the mixture on top in an even layer.
  6. Sprinkle with cimmamon.
  7. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
