Apple Sweet Potato

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 dash lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey

Directions:

  1. Cut sweet potato into bite sized pieces. Cut apple into wedges. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  2. Put sweet potato, apple and sugar in a saucepan and add water to barely cover. Cook over medium heat to boiling.
  3. When sweet potato is tender, reduce heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed. Add honey and stir.
