Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Sift together the first 5 ingredients.
  2. Blend in milk and melted shortening then stir just enough to mix.
  3. Carefully fold in apples that have been sweetened with the sugar.
  4. Pour into well greased muffin pan filling each cup 2/3 full.
  5. Bake 25 minutes at 400 then serve piping hot.
