Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine

Directions:

  1. Combine the apples and dates in an ungreased 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  3. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Add nuts and then sprinkle over apples and dates.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees F.
  6. For 35 to 40 minutes or until the apples are tender.
  7. Serve warm.
