Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter

Directions:

  1. Peel, core, and slice apples and place in a buttered baking dish. Mix flour and sugar well. Mix them to a paste with the butter. Spread over the top of the apples. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  2. Bake in 375 degree oven for 35 minutes.
  3. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
