Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups cooking oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Beat sugar, oil, and eggs.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
  3. Add flour mixture to egg mixture and blend well.
  4. Add apples and pecans.
  5. Bake in a greased 9x13 inch pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
  6. Serve warm with ice cream or cool whip, if desired.
