Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Grease 3 large baking sheets.
  3. In a large bowl combine oats, flour, sugar, coconut, baking soda and salt then set aside.
  4. In a small saucepan combine butter and syrup.
  5. Place over medium heat and stir until butter is melted.
  6. Pour into the flour mixture and stir to combine.
  7. Gather dough by well rounded teaspoons.
  8. The dough will be very crumbly so you will need to use your fingers to lightly pack dough into the spoon.
  9. Invert mounds of dough 1-1/2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets shaping with you fingers as needed.
  10. Bake 10 minutes then remove from oven and let stand in baking sheets for 3 minutes.
  11. Cool on wire racks.
